Ransackers
Ransackers is an educational adventure for people aged 55 and over who have not previously benefited from further education. Students win a placement at a university and are supported to develop an original research project on a subject of personal interest.

University of the Third Age
Around the country groups of older people organise themselves for the purpose of learning. There are now more than 400 groups in the UK and total membership is some 112,000. There are opportunities for both teachers and learners. In the words of one of the founders: 'Those who teach shall also learn and those who learn shall also teach'.

Way to learn
The motto of the organisation is: it is never too late to return to learning and achieve personal goals. The organisation aims to inspire, support and guide adult learners in achieving their educational goals.
