The Army Benevolent Fund
Provides financial and practical support to soldiers, former soldiers and their families in times of need.

RAF Benevolent Fund
If you have previously served in the RAF, are married to someone who is or was serving in the RAF or are a widow or widower of someone who served, then it is possible that help or guidance may also be available from the RAF Benevolent Fund.

The Royal Air Forces Association
Provides advice and support for RAF airmen and women, as well as arranging for short respite breaks for carers and residential and sheltered housing.

The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust
Provides financial advice and grants for older people, including supplementing incomes. Also runs a care home specifically for ex-Servicemen of the Royal Navy.

Royal British Legion
Charity offering help to ex-service men and women and their families.

Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League
Assists ex-servicemen and women through charitable funding.

Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen's Families Association
A national charity helping serving and ex-Service men, women and their families, including widows and widowers in need. Runs a network of local groups.

Veterans Agency
This agency can advise those who were in armed service, as well as their spouses. They can process claims for war pensions and lump sum payments.

War Widows' Association
A campaigning organisation which represents War Widows and dependents to ensure better services for those who experience bereavement of someone who served in the Armed Forces and died.
