influence

addressing key issues

Influencing and campaigning are key activities in Counsel and Care's mission to get the best care and support for older people, their families and carers. We seek to influence government, the media, and other stakeholders on the key issues facing older people today. To achieve better policies, services and funding, we use evidence from the experience of older people reported to our advice service and from our research. We campaign in our own right and as members of external networks and coalitions.

Counsel and Care has a range of publications on a wide range of subjects around older people's care and support. We also publish a quarterly magazine called Generations and we hold regular influencing and networking events.
