Leave a Legacy
Your loved ones should always come first but leaving a gift in your Will to Counsel and Care can help us to sustain our future and get the best care and support for older people, their families and carers across the country.
How a gift in your Will helps
Counsel and Care would not be able to provide the support it does without the generosity of people leaving gifts for our work in their Wills. Each year we need to raise money to pay for our ongoing running costs so legacies are vital in helping us continue to improve and develop our advice service for the benefit of older people and build a stable future.
Providing us with notice that you have arranged to leave a gift in your Will to Counsel and Care is really useful - and helps us to be able to plan for the long term with confidence.
How to leave a gift in your Will
If you already have a Will
Including a gift in your Will to Counsel and Care is simple. If you already have a Will all you need to do is instruct your solicitor of our name, address and registered charity number (203429).
If you do not have a Will
Making a Will doesn't have to be costly or complicated. Every year a group of ten charities in the UK organise Free Wills Fortnight, where fifteen firms of solicitors in England and Wales offer their specialist will-writing service free to the client.
