The Disabled Motorists Federation (DMF) (registered charity No 1012874) was established over 40 years ago with the original intention to give advice to disabled people (irrespective of the nature of their disability) and their carers on issues relating to motoring and transport matters.

Long Term Conditions 2012
Date: 1st February 2012
Venue: The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London.
Join over 350 delegates, 20 service providers, and 20 high level experts from across the health sector and the wider public sector to address the key issues around long term conditions. With an estimated 15.4 million people in England living with at least one long-term condition it is essential to meet and discuss how to improve the quality of services and the quality of life of patients.
Confirmed speakers include: Dame Sally Davies, Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health, Dr Michael Dixon from NHS Alliance, Professor David Oliver, the National Clinical Director for Older People at the Department of Health and Jonathan Mason, the National Clinical Director for Primary Care at the Department of Health.

Agenda for Later Life 2012

Agenda for Later Life is Age UK's annual policy conference. It aims to bring together insight on the impact of public policy on the way we age and setting the context for the wider challenge to individuals, communities and the private sector, to play their part in responding to our ageing society.
The conference also launches Age UK's publication 'Agenda for later life' which you will be given a free copy of.

Ceredigion Coastal Walk
Date: 8th June - 11th June 2012
Location: Mwnt to Aberystwyth
Raise money for the older people's charity Independent Age by walking along the stunning Ceredigion Coastal Path. Walk 50.4 miles over 4 days and enjoy the wonders of the environmental and heritage assets on one of the most scenic coastal areas in Wales.
Registration is £50 and you must pledge to raise:
£250 for 2 day trek, £375 for 3 day trek, £500 for 4 day trek
